DIGITAL INCLUSION FOR ALL.
ABOUT us
Digitall, is part of the Action on Poverty Network, is dedicated to addressing the growing inequality in Kent and Thanet by equipping individuals with the tools and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Our initiatives focus on critical community needs where poverty and limited access have created significant barriers.
We provide Data SIMs and digital devices to ensure individuals can stay connected, access online resources, and engage with the broader community. In the coming months, we will introduce Digital Skills Workshops to empower people of all ages to navigate online systems, claim benefits, and access essential services. These workshops will play a vital role in enabling digital inclusion and improving quality of life in a region where over 40% of children in some areas live in poverty, and food bank usage has nearly tripled since 2019.
Digitall’s efforts are crucial in addressing the challenges faced by those living in poverty, such as high living costs, the complexity of the benefits system, and the lack of access to digital tools. By providing these resources and training, we are making a tangible impact in reducing poverty, promoting educational success, and fostering inclusivity, ensuring no one in Kent and Thanet is left behind.
DATA WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST
Providing reliable internet access is essential for education, employment, and communication. Through our partnership with the National Data Bank, we offer Data SIM Cards that enable individuals to stay connected online, easing the financial burden for those who struggle with the cost of monthly subscriptions. These SIM cards play a crucial role by making affordable internet access available to everyone.

All SIM cards provided through the National Databank come with free data, calls, and texts to help people who cannot afford internet access. However, each network offers something slightly different.
Vodafone SIM cards come with 40GB of data, plus unlimited calls and texts. This lasts for 30 days but will automatically renew every month for up to 6 months. Before using the SIM, it must be activated. If the user wants to keep their current phone number, they can follow instructions on Vodafone’s website. In total, someone can receive free Vodafone data for up to 12 months.
Three SIM cards come preloaded with 24GB of data. This is a one-time allowance, meaning there is no monthly renewal. The SIM can be used in any unlocked phone that works with Three. Once the data runs out, the user will need a new SIM if they still need support.
O2 SIM cards work differently. They require digital data vouchers to provide internet access. Each voucher gives 25GB of data, plus unlimited UK calls and texts, and 50 minutes of international calls to 42 countries. The voucher lasts 30 days, and a new one must be issued every month. Someone can receive O2 data for up to 12 months, but a staff member must log in to the Databank website each month to issue the next voucher. The user must then activate the voucher via a text message link or by calling O2. If they want to keep their current phone number, they can follow instructions on O2’s website.
All SIM cards must be used in an unlocked phone or one that works with the correct network. Users should also be aware that not all SIMs renew automatically, so they may need to request more data if they are still eligible.
